Children's Summer Program
Join us for two weeks of Arabic culture and language learning through games, music, dancing, arts, cooking, and more! Fun activities with highly educated and motivated teachers.
Children will learn the language and culture through rotating activities each day like arts and crafts, outdoors games, singing, theater, dance (Dabkeh) and cooking.
Additional iPhone Filmmaking course with Professor Wael Kamal on Monday/ Wednesday 10-1pm each week that connects film making to Arabic culture and Arab- American identity.
Students will learn: How to use the iPhone video camera to produce high quality videos; Composition, shot sizes and exposure;
Using a tripod with iPhone; How to tell a simple story visually; How to edit a video using iMovie; How to add music to video;
How to add titles/ credits; How to export a video file; Ceate a YouTube Chanel and upload the video.
Requirements: Please bring your iPhone or iPad.
Date: July 30 - August 9 (Monday through Thursday of each week)
Time: Regular day 10 am till 3 pm
Extended day 8:30 am till 5:30 pm

4 years old for program enrollment (we encourage a parent presence with little kids)
8 years old for film class.
